What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?
Being high above the ground never thrilled me. I don’t like heights. I don’t like flying. What goes up must come down, I always think. However, it is how we come down.
Being on an airplane makes me nauseous. Every flight I have taken, I have experienced turbulence and am really bad at that. Dipping and pitching is not my idea of an easy ride. But if I must fly, I will take a plane ride. Just give me something to relax first. And of course, pray a lot.

It’s quite understandable to have a fear of heights and flying, especially with the discomfort of turbulence. Your approach of facing the fear when necessary, and finding ways to cope like having something to relax and prayer, shows resilience and practicality. Have you found any particular strategies or methods that help you manage the anxiety of flying more effectively? Also, have you considered exploring other forms of travel for long distances that might be more comfortable for you? Your experience and coping mechanisms could be really helpful for others who share similar apprehensions about flying. Keep being brave!

Thank you for your kind words. I have not learned different ways to cope. However, I love train rides. I know things can happen on a train ride too but there is something I cannot explain about the movement of the train. Not a bullet train that maybe a little too fast. I will keep trying to cope with planes. Thank u.
