Under the name Francis Lee, I write interracial Christian romantic suspense. My stories are about finding enduring love when hope and redemption seem unattainable as danger lurks around every corner. My characters learn that where there is darkness, "joy will always come in the morning".
Take the whole world, but give me Jesus; no turning back, no turning back. I have decided to follow Jesus.
This original hymn was sung by Nokseng, a Garo man from a tribe in Meghadaya in Assam, which is the northeast of India. The formation of this song to hymn is attributed to an Indian missionary Sadhu Sundar Singh.
For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God. For I delight in Him. ( Psalm 18 verse 21)
We have complete coverage wherever we are or wherever we go. Because the Lord is our shield and buckler.
A shield is large and can be placed as a barrier to stand behind when perjectiles such as arrows are launched.
A buckler is smaller. It is personal protection used in close hand to hand combat.
For those who trust in the Lord, he is our protector, our shield, and our buckler. We are covered from whatever the enemy will try to do to us, whether it is an attack on our mind with depression or sorrow. It could come as an attack on our finances through loss of employment. It does not matter what, but we need to put the Lord first and trust him. He will be our champion.
He is a present help in times of trouble, and he knows them that trust in him. ( Psalm 46 verse 1)
If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?
They love to play with the ball, bouncing and fetching. It is so much fun to watch them go for the ball. Really, they want to play morning, noon, and night. Have a care; I am only human, and I need my sleep.
I would love to make them understand, i will play, but not all the time.
Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.
My name is Jemima, but most times, I shorten it to Jem. Jem is also short for Jemima, Esther, and Maureen, an encapsulation of all my names. It isn’t because I hate the name, but I hate the jokes that follow the name. Besides, only my friends call me Jem. Growing up in a predominately white neighborhood and being black with this name was not easy with all the Aunt Jemima pancake jokes. The food box with the big black woman on the cover. People could be so ignorant. But I never shortened my name in public. Too bad for them, huh?
Jemima is of Hebrew origin, meaning a dove.
My parents named me from the Bible, like one of Job’s daughters in the book of Job chapter 42 verse 14. In 19th century England, it was a popular name. Throughout history and today, a number of women had and have this name.
It is a good and wonderful name to have, and I love it.
Not just a writer( romantic suspense with a dash of horror) but one who could spin a good tale where people will enjoy, and I sell a ton of books.
I love storytelling, the art of it from the beginning to the end. It keeps me up late at night, boggles my mind, and keeps me at the edge of my seat with worry, but I love it.
A good leader is someone who listens to both sides and views the situation, concern, event, problem, or conflict from every angle before making a decision. This leader has to be ethically sound by not practicing favoritism but is fair.
Friendship does not cloud the mind, although kindness, and understanding are always shown.
Of course, a good leader has weaknesses, but this leader can not dwell on them in order to illicit sympathy. This person is human and will fail from time to time but is strong enough to own up to their wrongs and move on.
They need to lead with honesty and the fear of God in doing what is right.
