Under the name Francis Lee, I write interracial Christian romantic suspense. My stories are about finding enduring love when hope and redemption seem unattainable as danger lurks around every corner. My characters learn that where there is darkness, "joy will always come in the morning".
In a soon coming day, he will call all his waiting people home to live with him forever.
When?
No one knows, but what is interesting is that when it happens, it will be different.
Like the song says:
Two men walking up a hill, one disappears, and one is left standing still. I wish we all were ready. Man and wife asleep in bed she hears a noise and turns her head , he’s gone.
There is no time to change your mind. The Son has come and you’ve been left behind.
He was larger than life. He had a big heart. In love with his wife from the moment he saw her until his death. Loved his children and grandchildren. Had a beautiful speaking and singing voice and had a fantastic memory.
Mostly, he loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and followed him faithfully.
He wasn’t perfect, but that too made him the coolest Dad ever.
I am blessed with family. Some people don’t have family, and the family they have are not worth talking about, but not mine. When I say family, I mean my siblings and parents.
Sure, we fight at times because our opinions are different and we are all strong characters.
Mom and Dad are both gone into glory, but they were not perfect but excellent.
Values they taught will last forever, and God was good to bless us with them.
I am working on a romantic suspense novel. It is a love-hate relationship where I am concerned. For a moment or two, I hate the work, but then, as my characters develop and the plot unfolds, I get lost in a make belief world of my own construction and love every second of it all.
Writing is a craft I enjoy doing. I give thanks to the Lord for this gift that grows with every twist of my plots and every turn my imagination takes.
Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
I love a lazy day, not that I am a lazy person full of sloth but I need that time for myself. I need some me time. It is a time I gather my thoughts, wake up later, eat when I want, and spend time with my family including my puppies.
I also have time to settle down and speak to the Lord without falling asleep after a long day or rushing through my prayer.
Successful does not mean to me how well you live or how much money you have in the bank.
It is a fulfillment, a completion whereby there is satisfaction.
Jesus did it all.
He came to die so that the world might be saved from God’s wrath that will come. His death brought us back to God where we can call God Father, and we will be with him forever.
His sacrifice conquered death, hell, Satan, and the grave because He lives in heaven seated at the right hand of God. God is pleased with his son’s work, and we are blessed.
That is perfect, and to me, eternal success. You don’t have to believe it. But it will not change this fact that Christ died for your sins and that he was buried and he rose again. You only have to accept it and trust him.
He lives.
When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
