Under the name Francis Lee, I write interracial Christian romantic suspense. My stories are about finding enduring love when hope and redemption seem unattainable as danger lurks around every corner. My characters learn that where there is darkness, "joy will always come in the morning".
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17 verse 7
The Lord is Hope.
In him, we have everything we need.
With arms wide open he never refuses;
And never disappoints.
Where there is trust, hope follows.
Sometimes we cannot see the big picture, but if we look at the little things and see how easily they fall into place, we will glimpse that big picture.
They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jeremiah 10 verse 5.
Some people are good, and in all appearances, they do well.
They are not the ones to fear.
They will do nothing; they will say nothing, nor do they see anything.
They have no life within them.
They will neither be against you or be for you.
They are like a vapor; here, one moment, then gone the next as if the vapor never existed.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Isaiah 54 verse 14
People may voice their disapproval with you when you walk in faith with the Lord.
Don’t worry about them.
Keep believing in the Lord and trust him where you can not trace Him.
He will keep you safe and be your salvation forever.
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10:17.
Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:34
We forget to remember God’s loving-kindness.
We forget that he is God, the Almighty. The One who formed the world out of nothing.
The One whose presence demands holiness.
And we forget to remember that God said he will never forget us, but our sins and iniquities will be remembered no more.
