Yet To Be # 298

Be not afraid of their faces for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 1 verse 8.
Slip your hand in mine as I walk with you.
Put your full trust in me, and you will never be disappointed.
Says the Lord my God.

In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Isaiah 54 verse 14
What do you fear?
Homelessness, unemployment, loneliness, poor health, death?
Whatever it is we have all faced the cold steely eyes of terror;
That dark emotion called fear grips your heart;
Torments your mind until you begin living in a constant panic about something you dare not name;
of something too great for you to keep in check; too dangerous it invades every waking moment.
until it descends deep into the bowels of your soul, of your very being.
You cannot eat; you cannot sleep.
Consumed with a myriad of paralyzing thoughts, life becomes bleak at times even, unbearable.
Fear Not.
You are not alone.
There is help.
A very present help when you are in trouble.
He is our help. Jehovah Ezer.
He is our shield. Jehovah Magen.
He is our provider. Jehovah Jireh.
He is our healer. Jehovah Rophe.
He is our protector. Jehovah Nissi.
He is our peace. Jehovah Shalom.
Fear Not.

From the sun’s rising to the same setting, praise the Lord.
Obedient from first to last, he came to do the Father’s will.
He knew he would shed his blood for the sins of the world.
He knew that on the cross, he would be forsaken by God because of God’s holiness and how God can not look upon sin.
Yet, he died on the cross.
And God pleased with the son of his love, raised him from the dead.
And placed him at his right hand in heaven. There, he lives.
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him. Matthew 12 verse 18.

Oh, Lord, with praise and joy, I give thanks.
I do not deserve thy goodness.
I live in fear and anxiety about things I cannot control.
Yet, when I cry to thee and call upon thy name, I feel a peace that surrounds me;
I breathe and move forward.
Not knowing what will happen or where I should go.
But belief inhabits my heart, and I trust thee.
So, I give thanks.

People may voice their disapproval with you when you walk in faith with the Lord.
Don’t worry about them.
Keep believing in the Lord and trust him where you can not trace Him.
He will keep you safe and be your salvation forever.
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
Isaiah 51: 7
This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3 verse 17.

He finished the work which the Father gave him to do.
Perfect completion.
God the Father is well pleased with His son.
He raised him from the dead.
And seated him at his right hand in the glory.
There he lives the die no more.
The Son of Man, the son of God, Jesus Christ the Lord.
Jesus lives.

God does not set you up for failure.
He is working on your success.
If you doubt and have small expectations, the only thing you will receive is mediocrity.
If God said for you to do something or go someplace, he will make it possible for you to succeed.
He will open up the heavens and provide whatever you lack.
He is a loving God.
Failure is not something he sets you up for. There may be times when you have to try again, and again, but in God’s time, everything will fall into place and be perfect.
He does not set you up.
He sets you right.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3 verse 10.
As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is proven. Psalm 18 verse 30
The blessing of the Lord enriches, and He adds no sorrow to it. Proverbs 10 verse 22
Remembering Jesus…

Behold the Lamb, crowned with glory and honor.
The true Passover Lamb who gave himself so that we could be redeemed to God.
Redemption comes through the blood, his precious blood.
Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.
It is by his blood that we are washed. We are cleansed and brought back to God in favor.
God sees the blood of His son and passed over in judgment.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
