For The Moment…96

Let us walk in the light of the Lord.  Isaiah 2 verse 5.

Light illuminates. It reveals the direction to take. It can be a beacon in the middle of darkness as a guide to safety.

As we walk in the Lord’s light, we will see a clear path for our feet so they will not slip. We will not fall but if we do for any reason fall or even stumble maybe because our legs are tired and our mind need rest, the Lord will pick us up and hold our hand to give us strength so we can keep moving forward.

He is a good God.

For The Moment…95

And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills. Isaiah 2 verse 2.

The last days before the Lord returns and calls his waiting people home will be a time when there will be worship worthy of his name.

His people will not forget him. He will find us praising him.

For The Moment…93

Vow and pay unto the Lord your God. Psalm 76 verse 11

If you make a promise to God, please fulfill that promise. We need to remember He is God the almighty. Spoke words to him are not taken lightly.

We trust him to fulfill his promises to us. Why do we not do the same?

For The Moment…92

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Adapted from Hebrews  11 verse 6.

For The Moment…91

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge; he putters down one and setters up another. Psalm 75 verses 6 and 7.

God is in control and will not give his power to another.

When things are going well, we have that notion to believe it is all by our own strength. But God gives the strength and clears the way on our path.

We can trust him. Because He does know the way through this wilderness we call life.

For The Moment…90

O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name forever?

Psalm 74 verse 10.

We live in a society where God is not the center and is therefore not important. Every day, we move among people who have no regard for the things of the Lord. There are religions that seek peace and give instructions on how to live in peace, but they do not know the true and living God. Their words will not last forever.

The answers to life lie in the word of God. Yet, no one opens the Book of books to read. If they did, they would learn the truth.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promises. Soon, he will put all things right. He will be the one all the earth will praise. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall  confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

For The Moment…89

I was envious of the foolish when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

Psalm 73 verses 3 and 17.

Don’t look at what others have. Concentrate on your own life.

The grass is never greener on the other side it just looks that way.

Live a life pleasing to the Lord, and everything will fall into place.

The wicked and the foolish will get their own just rewards.

For The Moment…88

For thou art my hope, O Lord God; thou art my trust from my youth. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

Psalm 71 verses 5 and 9.

When I am most vulnerable, the Lord will sustain me.

I will remember His love and his kindness from the time of my youth.

All my life, he will be good to me.

He is my hope, and in Him, do I put my trust.

For The Moment…86

My eyes fail while I wait for my God.

Psalm 69 verse 3

Sometimes the problem is so big I can not see beyond it, so focused am I on the situation I fail to remember His promises.

There is nothing too big or too small to waken the ear of my God.

The answer may not come when I am looking for it or even where I  anticipate it’s coming, but rest assured it will come on time.

He will not tarry in his deliverance because he will not make those who wait on him be ashamed.

This is his promise to me.

For The Moment…85

Sing, unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that ride the upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

Psalm 68 verse 4.

Who is he, and what is his name?

He is the Lord almighty who called the things that are not into existence.

The one who rides on the wi d in Majesty and Glory.

The one who kills and makes alive.

The one who has the power to destroy every living creature on the earth with the wave of his hand.

His voice is like  thunder, and from his face, the heavens flee away and tremble.

Great is his faithfulness to his people.

Great is his love and mercy. His compassion is renewed all day long.
