Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3 verses 5 and 6
Give it all to God. If the problem is too big and the solution is too hard to fathom.
When there is no hope in the natural sense, believe.
Remember, we serve a supernatural God whose ways for not our ways. Who can do anything far above what we can ever think.
Only if we believe and trust in him with a faith even as small as a mustard seed. He will move heaven and earth to see us through.
I would like my words to speak of joy and kindness. As an ambassador of Christ, my actions should show kindness. I should be like Christ, who is my Savior.
My actions should show goodness, and I should not speak badly of others. I should not get into arguments but leave the fighting and disagreements to the Lord who promises to fight for me.
I live in peace in a world where there is no peace.
I am very clumsy most of the time. I sprained my ankles, bruised my knees, and torn a muscle in my shoulder, but I had not broken any bones in my body.
The sisters I live with are more than family. They are my bestfriends. Through the years, they were always there for me, like second mothers, as I am the last in the family. So, if they need me, I will be there for them.
I will give you an example. It may seem small trivial even, but for my big sister, it meant a great deal.
She worked hard. Coming home late and waking early to leave for work. Transportation was spotty to say there was any. She had to leave before dawn to get a bus, then transfer and finally walk to the office. Sometimes, she would be so exhausted after work that she would fall asleep during dinner.
In the morning, she would be the first to wake and get ready for work, never having enough time to prepare breakfast or lunch. At that time I too had a long commute to work. On my day to cook, which was once a week. I would wake up at two in the morning and prepare her breakfast, lunch, and dinner with enough leftover for her to take the next day for work.
It was hard. I had to get ready for work and I had night classes that same evening. It made for an incredibly long day. I didn’t mind cause she used to do the same for me.
When another sister couldn’t do it for her, Mom and Dad would fill in. In the end, we worked as a team until her hours were changed and things were back to normal.
We can’t understand the great mysteries of life. How the rivers follow into the sea and the sea never gets full. Why does the sun rise and set at a certain time? How nature knows when it is spring when all the trees and blossoms begin to bloom.
We know there is a time for everything, and we believe and accept that event will happen.
We don’t know or understand the mind of God. His ways are past finding out. In other words, they are beyond our comprehension.
But it is for us to trust God where we can not trace Him.
As thou knoweth not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knoweth not the works of God who make the all. Ecclesiastes 11 verse 5.
Being a leader is great responsibility. There are those who look up to you for guidance and to make decisions.
When there is something that must be done, I don’t shy away from it but jump right in making decisions and giving directions.
I do that often, and for sure, I don’t mind because I see it as a chance to explore my ideas and see how they work.
Yet, there are times when taking the reins could be so trying I would like someone else to step up so I can take a break. At times, I just want to coast by and be a yes, man.
But in all honesty, those are the times I get lazy.
Besides, if someone else takes the lead, I am the first to question every decision they make.
