In Covid times( still is), but at the beginning, if you had to make a medical appointment, there was no waiting room waiting. Mind doctors did appointments virtually. Then, after a couple of vaccines some clinics opened for in person appointments.
You made the appointment. You came on time, and you were taken in on time.
Now, you get to wait.
One thing it is still not like pre Covid : You waited a long time for your doctor to see you for less than five minutes only only to tell you, take a aspirin and call me in a day or two. (That I don’t mind. Health is wealth.)
Still, the more things change is, the more they stay the same.
I will magnify his name, for He is worthy to be praised.
He saved me from all my fears. He comforts me.
My tongue shall speak of thy righteousness my Lord and thy praise all day long. My tongue is a pen of a ready writer for thou art worthy from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same.
It is such a nice refreshing drink for any season from my sister’s recipe.
Made with fruit juice like orange or peach, even both. You will mix it with a dry white wine or a sweet white wine like a Moscato with high sugar content. Then add Sprite or Seven up, not soda water. If you want it a tiny bit sweeter, then add a little grenadine, but that will be too sweet when using a Moscato or maybe not. 😉
Really, it is a grown-up up version of a Shirley Temple.
Over eight times in Psalm 34, God’s deliverance from all evil, against the enemy, and from fear is spoken.
The theme of the promise of God hearing the cries of his people and saving them from all their trouble saturates this Psalm.
The faithfulness and precious love of God runs freely from him to those he loves. Trust and belief in the Lord are our weapons against all fear, against whatever evil we face every day. He is a present help when we are in trouble.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34 verse 4.
