The Lord is My Light and My Salvation Whom Shall I Fear.

There is joy in knowing Jesus.

Yet To Be # 256

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.

The Lord is my life and my salvation.
He gives, and He takes away; so deep is His love.
Who knows the mind of the Lord, and who can understand His ways?
His ways are not my ways neither are His thoughts my thoughts.
Nothing escapes His eyes when they are fixed solely on His children.
He is my light as I walk through the valley, scale mountains, weather storms, and descend into pits.
He is my guide and my savior.
I am no longer afraid of the Dark.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27 verse 1

Hope rocks some serious acquaintance.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

He is your salvation.
Come to Jesus with all your burdens, lay them before Him, and confess your sins. Ask Him to come into your heart, and be the Lord of your life. He will give you joy, peace, and freedom in your soul like never before.
There is joy in knowing Jesus.

Not Shaken, Not Stirred

when you follow the Word of God and look to Jesus, his only begotten Son, you learn life is worth living.

Yet To Be #255

When you listen to the noise surrounding your life, you hear many voices.
Some voices speak words of comfort and peace.
Where others utter words that are sad, and dark, words that are not edifying but disturbing and destructive. These are the loudest and most persistent because they bring along with their burdens of fear and torment.
Finally, there are voices of truth. Truth is a funny thing. It gives freedom in the face of guilt. It gives transparency when there is no vision, yet truth can be dark. Dark only because it shines a light in areas you strive to keep hidden.
These are the voices that should be heard.
Although their sting can be painful, their resolve is sure and honest.
As you listen to those words of truth, you begin to hear the voice of the Lord in a sea of noise. By His words of truth, you become unshaken and not stirred by the changing matters of this life. When you follow the Word of God and look to Jesus, his only begotten Son, you learn life is worth living.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Psalm 23 verse 4

We Contemplate Thee: Remembrance of Jesus

Yet To Be 253

We think of Him, who in willing obedience to the Father came to earth to die.

The Son of God who was there in eternity past left it all for us that we might be enriched.

Made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, ( he emptied himself), and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, ( his own creation), he humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

It does not end here…

But we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Fear Not God Has it All Under Control

Yet To Be # 252

His ways are not our ways.

I will lay me down in peace, and sleep for thou, Lord, only makes me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Rest assured God is in control.

His thoughts are not our thoughts.

The finite can never understand the infinite .

He can do anything beyond whatever we think or ask.

He is God.

Confidence Instead of Fear.

Yet To Be #251

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that set themselves against me around about. Arise , O Lord; save me. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. Psalm 3 verses 6, 7a, and 5.

People have plans.

They have hidden agendas.

A smiling face may cover a darkened scowl that lies beneath.

No one knows the heart like God.

No one hears the malice laced in sweet words but God.

As terror mounts while the devices of those who hate you multiple, there is a steady confidence that God will protect you.

God will sustain you.

Rest assured God will defend you.

You must call on your faith with unwavering assurance that God has your back.

Fear Not, Be Safe

Yet To Be # 250

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. Job 21 verse 9.

The love of God covers us from sin.

Trust in God blesses us with promise.

Belief in God keeps us grounded.

Faith in God gives us strength.

And praying together keeps the family happy and safe.

Fear Not: Your Misery Will Pass

He will make a way where there is no way.

Yet To Be # 249

When you have a clean heart before God and do what is right by walking in all His ways, there will be nothing to fear when hardships come.
He promised to guide your steps.
He will make a way where there is no way.
He will provide for your every need because you trust in Him.

For then shalt thou lift up they face without spot yea, thou shalt be steadfast, and shalt not fear because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away. Job 11: 15, 16

Remembrance Day: To Recall Jesus

We see Jesus

Yet Too Be # 248

To bring back to mind

On the Lord’s Day, we remember Him.
Like those women who early on the first day of the week came to prepare the body of the Lord with spices and ointment as it was the custom in burial, we today remember the Lord in praise and thanksgiving. We muse on his beauty as the Son of God, his work on this earth, his death, burial, resurrection and position now in Glory. We recall Jesus Christ, the Son of God’s love.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Hebrews 2 verse 9.

God will protect you from the sting of gossip: Fear Not.

Remembrance: A Request…

Yet Be Yet # 246

The Remembrance Supper

The last request from the Lord.

“This do in remembrance of me.”

This is a request not a command. The Lord does not make a demand.

It is not a rule. It is an act that should be done out of love and devotion.

Luke 22 verse 19

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, this is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
