Really and truly being able to create characters living in made up communities is wonderful. They go through the same ups and downs like real folk, but they are make-believe.
I also enjoy telling a story that can both be entertaining and enlightening.
I love it and I want to do more every day.
I also want to earn money. That is a great point. 👍
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?
I don’t like tattoos. However, some are so cool as an art form. I see them on women who had their breasts removed. It is empowering. If my guy has some OK but I will not get any for myself.
In the Bible in the book of Levitius chapter 19, it says not to mark your body.
Others may do it and be fine about it. My thoughts are you do you and I will do me.
Nothing happens by chance with God. There is no such thing as coincidence. Everything works together in God’s master plan.
We may not understand it, but looking back on things we see, His hand is in everything for our good.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3 verses 5 and 6.
I like doing things for others, but I don’t need them to know it is me. I don’t like to be put on the spot where people can cheer or point fingers.
I work behind the scenes, and I am satisfied when things go well to know I helped to do that.
I am here and good at what I do, but don’t put me in the limelight. Reward me but quietly. Acknowledge me, but personally. I don’t like eyes on me.
I like fame, but no one needs to know who I am.
People have pushed me into the background, ignoring me, and I got used to it. I made it an art form, and I learned to live with it and enjoy it.
When others are pushed ahead and all eyes are on them, I continue to work until I exceed the famous and I leave them in my dust. They look around in awe, wondering how I got so much.
My answer is always the same; invisibility is power.
I work with the public, helping people hear better. I work hard, and I enjoy my job because it is a gift from God, and I am good at it.
Sometimes, my confidence waivers, and I have great challenges. The Lord knows my struggles and provides in ways to boost my depressed spirit. On days like those, there is always someone who is grateful.
When I hear thank you and you are so kind, it makes my heart skip a beat or two with joy.
I will praise him for all that is past and trust him for that is to come.
Putting complete trust in God is the best thing to do. Don’t lean to what you know because it is true; He will do a new thing. He will do something different you have never seen before.
We can thank him for what is to come believing like you have received it.
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
I love a train ride. I don’t know why. If I had to go cross country, my first choice is the train.
The landscape is beautiful with all the lush greens and crowded forests with flat terrain of the prairies and the mountains of the far west. I can take the train to the east as well and see the coves giving way to the ocean.
OK. Yes. I live in one of the biggest and least populated country in the world. The great white north called Canada.
It is best to see it by train because you can relax and take in all the scenery
What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?
When negative thoughts crowd my mind, I try and look at the lighter side.
Negativity leads to a dark path where nothing good comes out at the end.
Thinking good thoughts makes my life easier and brighter. I am stressed, and I can breathe.
I think myself happy, therefore I am happy. No one can make my happiness. I have to find it in myself and work at it. Some days are easier than others, but still, I try to count my blessings.
The use of color makes me happy. I just love using watercolors to create a scene or image on paper. When I finish a piece, I don’t usually like it, but then, coming back days later, I love it.
As I write, I live through most of the characters I create. I say most because I usually have a villain in the story. I don’t live the life of my villain, but I understand why they are the way they are.
