Easy…

How has technology changed your job?

In my industry, technology is everything. Going from analog to digital is wonderful. Things are faster, better, and clearer. I don’t need to think so hard. Whenever there is a mistake, I blame the computer.

Can’t live with them and can’t live without them.

For The Moment…68

Jesus wept.

John 11 verse 35

This is the shortest verse in the Bible, and yet it speaks volumes.

It as we cry, he cries with us. He is touched by our feelings.

He is with us in trouble we go through because he can not deny his love for us. He can not leave us.

He is faithful and will pull us out of the trouble. No matter where we are.

We have nothing to fear knowing he is near.

He stays closer to us than a brother.

He is our shield, and he is our great reward.

We have everything in Christ Jesus.

Saying no is hard

How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

Saying no sometimes can be hard. I have never taken stock on how often I say no to things that will interfere with my goals.

However, my time is important to any project I am working on. I must learn to say no and get on with my focus. People are always tugging me in different directions, taking up my time. I need to evaluate, step back, and make a decision.

Hopefully, in that order.

For The Moment…67

God reignite over the heathen: God sitter upon the throne of his holiness.

Psalm 47 verse 8

God is holy, and he reigns. He sits upon his throne, and nothing escapes his notice. In the right time he will put everything straight and in order.

There is no hiding from God. We may run from the east to the west. We may make our bed in hell. He will be there. We can not run from God. There is nothing that escapes him.

He knows all things.

He is holy.

God the almighty.

Jesus…

Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

Yes, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and his word teaches me how to live a life pleasing to God.

Humanly speaking, I had an English teacher in high school who encouraged me to be brave. I qualified and participated in my first English literature contest. I didn’t win, but it opened my eyes to see a part of my potential.

The sky is the limit, baby.

Write

What do you wish you could do more every day?

Really and truly being able to create characters living in made up communities is wonderful. They go through the same ups and downs like real folk, but they are make-believe.

I also enjoy telling a story that can both be entertaining and enlightening.

I love it and I want to do more every day.

I also want to earn money. That is a great point. 👍

No tattoo …thank you

What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?

I don’t like tattoos. However, some are so cool as an art form. I see them on women who had their breasts removed. It is empowering. If my guy has some OK but I will not get any for myself.

In the Bible in the book of Levitius chapter 19, it says not to mark your body.

Others may do it and be fine about it. My thoughts are you do you and I will do me.

Besides,  it looks really painful. No, thank you.

For The Moment…66

Nothing happens by chance with God. There is no such thing as coincidence. Everything works together in God’s master plan.

We may not understand it, but looking back on things we see, His hand is in everything for our good.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3 verses 5 and 6.

Invisible

What is one word that describes you?

I like doing things for others, but I don’t need them to know it is me. I don’t like to be put on the spot where people can cheer or point fingers.

I work behind the scenes, and I am satisfied when things go well to know I helped to do that.

I am here and good at what I do, but don’t put me in the limelight. Reward me but quietly. Acknowledge me, but personally. I don’t like eyes on me.

I like fame, but no one  needs to know who I am.

People have pushed me into the background, ignoring me, and I got used to it. I made it an art form, and I  learned to live with it and enjoy it.

When others are pushed ahead and all eyes are on them, I continue to work until I exceed the famous and I leave them in my dust. They look around in awe, wondering how I got so much.

My answer is always the same; invisibility is power.

You are so kind

What was the best compliment you’ve received?

I work with the public, helping people hear better. I work hard, and I enjoy my job because it is a gift from God, and I am good at it.

Sometimes, my confidence waivers, and I have great challenges. The Lord knows my struggles and provides in ways to boost my depressed spirit. On days like those, there is always someone who is grateful.

When I hear thank you and you are so kind, it makes my heart skip a beat or two with joy.

I smile.

I did a good job.
