Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ( Mark 11 verse 24.)
Believe for what you pray. Pray with all sincerity.
Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ( Mark 11 verse 24.)
Believe for what you pray. Pray with all sincerity.
Write about your dream home.
It is a place where I am loved. A place where those who care about me are with me physically and in my memory.
A home is where I can call on the Lord in freedom and sincerity. A place where I can service the Lord.
My dream home is where I can dwell in safety and breathe a sigh of relief when I close the door on the outside world as if barring all the hurt and the pain of the day.
No one said trusting is easy, especially when darkness surrounds you, and doom is at the door.
This is the time you must dig deep into yourself and pray.
Pray when your heart is breaking.
Pray when you feel so helpless and alone.
Pray when there is nothing left to pray for when you see nothing happening.
Pray when all is quiet and there is no movement to victory.
Pray with a passion you did not know existed.
Pray and believe.
The passionate, sincere prayer of a person living right before the Lord is powerful before God.
The effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. (Adapted from James 5 verse 16.)
Give thanks believing you have received it.
Meaning, there is no doubt. Believe the Lord is able to give you what you desire. Ask in faith, not doubting, because a double minded person is unstable in all things.
If there is doubt, then how can you say you trust God? How can you say you say in truth you believe him or that you take him at his word?
You do not believe it because you have no faith.
And you are living a lie.
You do not believe he can do it for you.
You do not believe he is great enough.
You do not believe you deserve it.
You need to make it right. You need to present all your fears and tell him about your doubts then cast them aside knowing he hears you and you trust him.
Even if your faith is small like a grain of mustard seed. He will come through for you.
Believe him and see him as God the creator. The God who loves you no matter what you have done, no matter who you are.
(Adapted from Mark 11 verse 24, James 1 verse 6 and Matthew 17 verse 20)
Next… no one said it will be easy. There can be dark days ahead…
You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?
I try to thank God for everything I receive. In my life, he is the one who makes things right. All that I have and my accomplishments, I owe it all to the Lord.
It isn’t a lie.
I stumbled into my present career, not knowing what was good for me or where to go. I prayed, and the Lord gently opened doors I never knew existed. One thing led to another, and I am still working in this niche profession, and I do enjoy it.
I am not saying it does not have the ups and downs. There are many challenges, but the Lord sees me through them all.
So, I give him praise and thanks because without him, I will have nothing. Besides, every gift comes from the Lord.
Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?
I loved to bead. I loved making things with my beads. I made bracelets, necklaces and rings, and even bookmarks. I love to go to the bead shops and pick out new items. I spent a lot of money, even my lunch money, and would go without eating, but it was worth it.
My greatest cheerleader was my Dad. Everything I made for him was “beautiful.” He passed after my last craft show a few years ago in the spring. The years are going by so fast, it seems like yesterday.
I put away my tools and my beads, and I have no desire to make anything.
Not yet. It will all come back.
I just need time.
Ask BIG, and don’t be afraid.
You don’t have what you desire because you don’t ask him. He gives us everything because he is our source of blessing, so ask. And when you ask, do it in detail. Every little thing awakes his ear. He loves to know you can trust him, and you believe he can do whatever you ask for. He is faithful.
Jesus said, ” Ask and it shall be given unto you. Everyone who asks receives.”
That person who comes to him he will not cast away or cast aside. He loves freely and fully. Ask and approach him with all reverence and boldness, knowing he will reward you.
With God, all things are possible.
(Adapted from James 4 verse 2 and Matthew 7 verse 7 and 8.), Matthew 19 verse 26.)
Next up…give thanks believing –
Trust in the Lord and ask Him for all your needs.
Whisper a prayer of believing and trust –
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust. I call on thee and there is no one like thee. Thou art the God of all and above all, mighty in power and wisdom who can never fail or change.
Hear my cry and come in as I wait for thee.
And the Lord answers saying, “Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed.”
(Adapted from Psalm 31 verse 1, Romans 10 verse 11)
What’s your favorite candy?
However, I do like to pop a mint in my mouth so I don’t have my friends keeling over in a death heap from my breath.
Besides, it is nice to have fresh breath when going for that sweet liplock with my guy.
On the other hand, I pray his breath is fresh, too.
I’m I superficial?
Of course I am. A girl has to be whatever she wants to be. Besides, I don’t want him screwing up his face because he hates to kiss me. He has to love to dive right, honey, and the same for me.
Do you need a break? From what?
Don’t get me wrong, I love my job. I work with the public, meeting people from different walks of life. Some are kind others not so much, but all have a story, and I like storytelling and listening.
But I need at times to be recharged. Recharging will be a good break. A break not two weeks but something with substance like a sabbatical. I mean it will be a dream if it were a paid sabbatical.
What will I do?
My side hustle. It is artsy. Something very different to my medical based field.
