All In The Mind

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Clutter does not have to be only tangible things. It could be things that invade the mind and cause misery, depression and anxiety. These unwanted actors tend to breach places in the mind and cause dire havoc. Over time, they are hard to eradicate. To remove them is to pray and pray to the Lord with hope and sincerity, knowing he will send help to see you through.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will save you from them all. (Psalm 33 verse 19)

For The Moment…15

He clears a path that is clear and bright. He guides when you can not see straight. He gives counsel when you are confused. And he assures you of his presence so you are not alone.

Fear not for I have redeemed thee, I have called you by my name; you are mine. (Isaiah 43 verse 1)

Dogs Are Great.

What is your favorite animal?

I love my little dogs because they are loyal and show love back without hesitation. They were created for our pleasure and companionship. They protect you. They follow you. They make you smile when things go south. They don’t even judge you. They are great creatures. I am sure cats are good too, but I am allergic.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

We are certain and believe in things we can not even see. (Hebrews 11 verse 1) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Remembering Jesus Not Only on the Lord’s Day.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12 verse 2)

On this the Lord’s day, we will remember him.

For the Moment…13

Keep things simple. Don’t worry, but live for today. Worrying never changed anything; it never pushed things forward it only gets you frustrated, which then leads to heartache.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the shall take thought for things of itself. (Matthew 6 verse 34)

Great memories?

Think back on your most memorable road trip.

On the way to a much needed break, I got bronchitis. Oh joy…

All joking aside, I always enjoyed my trips with Mom, Dad, and my sisters. We didn’t travel a lot but to those few places we went together in my adult life, I enjoyed. Now, the parents are gone, and my sisters and I remember the simple joys of a tour ride, good food, and their company.

A Peach…

What snack would you eat right now?

I love fruits, and a nice, sweet, juicy peach is delish. When you bite into it, the juice squirts out, and then you feel the soft texture of the skin on your tongue nano seconds before the sweetness awakens your senses. It must be firm enough to chew and get some crunch, but not too tough it feels hard as a rock. You swallow, then get ready to take another bite. You get to experience it all over again.

It’s a cool, sweet snack…

For The Moment…#12

By accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we receive the gift of eternal life.

Consider and hear me, O Lord my God. Psalm 13 verse 3

Someone commented on the grace of God, saying it’s something we don’t deserve. It’s true. The God of the universe has so much love that He gave His only son to save us from sin. He wants us all to be saved and go back to Him. By accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we receive the gift of eternal life. Christ died for us, the undeserving, to reconcile us with God. This is an undeserved gift. (1 Peter 3:18-22)
