Fear Not For I Have Redeemed You…

YET TO BE # 286

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isaiah 43 verse 1

God’s love is all-consuming.

His passions are from everlasting to everlasting.

When He speaks it is forever.

Everything He promises, He fulfills.

Whatever He does nothing and no one can alter it.

He gave to us the most precious gift of all; His only begotten son, the darling of his bosom to redeem us.

It is by His grace and His great desire to have us be with Him through all eternity.

We are nothing, yet God so loved us, the blood of His son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God made us something.

Washed in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb, we are His for all eternity.

God Said, “I Will Help You.”

YET TO BE # 285

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel: I will help thee, saith the Lord, and they Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 41 verse 14

Stop the fear before it invades your thoughts.

Squelch the doubt before it consumes you.

Dismiss the gloom that clouds the senses.

Lift up the fallen spirit.

Straighten the knees that knock in fright.

Look to the Lord who can never lie.

“I will help you,” God promised.

Fear Not God Will Help You

YET TO BE #284

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41 verse 13

It is true.

Do not be mistaken.

Our God is full of compassion.

He sees us.

He knows us and he understands our needs.

So easily touched by our emotions.

Moved by our disappointments.

Grieved by our sorrow

When we are lost;

He seeks us.

He holds our hand and guides us to a safe haven.

He is our rock, our fortress, a very present help when we are in trouble.

Fear Not

YET TO BE #282

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength, lift it up, be not afraid, say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God. Isaiah 40 verse 9.

Behold the Lord comes with power and might.

Praise his name forever for he is worthy to be praised.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, and make your voice known for he is great.

He is God.

Remembering Jesus the Author of Our Faith.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12 verse 2.

Author of our Faith in the book of Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 can be translated from the Greek language as captain or pioneer.

He is the first and the last; everything starts with him and ends with him.

He perfected our belief in God.

He is our example when it comes to trusting in God.

He totally relied on God the Father as the source of his blessing, the source of his existence;

being the only begotten son of God, coexistent, coequal, and coeternal with God.

He is our true example as the “captain” and “perfector” of our faith.

Don’t Be Afraid of What You Hear…

Yet To BE # 281

And Isaiah said unto them, thus shall ye say unto your master, thus saith the Lord, be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Isaiah 37 verse 6.

Don’t be afraid of the things you hear.

Malicious words can mess with your self-esteem and destroy the psyche.

The tongue is a fire, a weapon used for mass destruction.

But don’t worry about what others say to you.

Don’t be afraid of words spoken in anger to defeat you

As a child of God, your responsibility is to your heavenly Father.

He takes care of you in all your ways.

There is nothing he will not do for you.

Comfort Others…

Yet To Be # 280

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; He will come and save you. Isaiah 35 verse 4

Take time, a mere moment from your life to comfort someone else.

Pray for the sick.

Encourage the faint-hearted.

Pay attention to the lonely.

Give thanks to God for those in your life.

Help those who are helpless.

Be strong in the power of the Lord’s might, knowing he will sustain you and keep you in all your ways.

Knowing God, Loving God…

Yet To Be #279

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26 verse 2

When we say we love God, we seek to learn more.

The more we know the sweeter to our hearts he grows;

until face to face his full beauty we will embrace.

Judgment of The Godless

Yet To Be #278

The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. Isaiah 17 verse 2

In the book of Isaiah the prophet foretold the invasion of the Assyrian army and the fall of Israel as a warning to God’s people because of their Godless ways.

God is holy and cannot look upon sin.

He deals in righteous judgment on the just and the unjust.

He knows we are not perfect and remembers that we easily make mistakes.

Nevertheless, God loves us and sent his only begotten son so that we can be saved from the wrath to come and be brought back to him in grace.

Those who confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour, are then called Children of God.

For those who reject Jesus as Saviour and Lord, they will not be spending eternity with God but will be cast out into eternal darkness where “the worm dies not, neither is the fire quenched.”

Salvation is only through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Remembering Jesus…

Where is He now?

We see Jesus…

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Being made so much better than the angels. as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1 verses 1 to 4

He is now crowned with honor.

Seated at the Father’s right hand in the glory.

Having completed the work that the Father gave him to do.

There he lives.

We remember him.
