If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?
Help wanted?
Jesus saves.

Be strong and of good courage.
Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?
I think about the past, and I mentally beat myself up. Then, think about the future, and I live in terror.
It is best to learn from the past and live in the now.
neither be thou dismayed.
God will never fail thee.

And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee neither forsake thee; fear not neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31, verse 8
God will never turn his back on me.
And promises never to walk away while others flee.
His presence makes my heart beat with joy and ease.
Because I know there is nothing to fear before my enemies.

What are your biggest challenges?
I tend to have too many things on the go. I don’t mind it keeps my life interesting. However, because of this variety, I need to allot my time wisely, or I will succumb to burn out.

He will do a new thing…

Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters. Behold; I will do a new thing now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? Isaiah 43 verse 16, 19
If we believe in God and trust what He says, He will find a solution when it seems impossible. Unlike us, we struggle to find solutions to difficult situations, but God can make a way even when there is no way. He can do whatever is necessary to keep us safe and provide for us.
If only we will believe.
Yet To Be 310
Although we may fear the uncharted, all the things hidden around the corner, the Lord is in control.
He remains faithful when we fall.
He catches us and holds us close when we are afraid.
There is no one like Him.
If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2 verse 13.
He loves us.

Yet To Be # 309

“My God, my God why has thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27 verse 46.
This is not a question that the Lord Jesus needed to be answered.
He knew why God could not look at him. Why God had to turn his back on his only begotten son.
He knew hanging on the cross, crucified for the sake of the world he was made sin by taking our sins on himself. He became the true sacrifice.
This was the work that the Father gave him to do.
And he fulfilled this work in perfect obedience.
In perfect satisfaction to God.
“God is of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look upon sin.” Habakkuk 1 verse 13.
Yet To Be # 308

Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashame: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame. Isaiah 54 verse 4.
His words are true. His love is real.
His promises can never fail.
With his blood, he has bought our hearts.
Now, seen in him, we will never part.
Standing in faith, there is no shame, no press of fear.
Because the God of peace, our eternal Lord, is here and will remain near.
