All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.”
Psalm 66 verse 4.
The Lord is worthy to be praised. And in a soon coming day, all the earth shall bow the knee and own him as Lord over all.
Amen.
All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.”
Psalm 66 verse 4.
The Lord is worthy to be praised. And in a soon coming day, all the earth shall bow the knee and own him as Lord over all.
Amen.
Thou crowned the year with goodness.
Psalm 65 verse 11.
We are almost halfway through the new year of 2024. So far, there were ups and downs. Appointments and disappointment. Sometimes, we smile, but other times we weep.
Not to worry, God is in control, and favor is coming. Blessings will flow if we stay in faith. Faith pleases God. Trust is as a crown for the righteous.
…they say who shall see them?
Psalm 64 verse 5
We must remember who God is. He is the almighty.
The one who can make the earth his footstool.
Nothing is hidden from God.
God sees everything we do.
We can not fool God.
O God thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirstieth for thee, my flesh longer for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Psalm 63 verses 1 and 2.
As we walk the road of life, we are comforted by his presence. As we daily seek him, we grow accustomed to hearing his voice until our desire is to know him more.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.
Psalm 62 verse 8
He is altogether lovely.
His beauty outshines the sun.
He is everything to me.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
Psalm 61 verse 2 and 3
The world around us is in turmoil. There are wars and rumors of wars. There is fighting in the streets, killings, drugs, trafficking and more taxes, and less money. This all can be overwhelming. But God is present. He promises to never leave or forsake us.
When the going gets tough, he does not and will not walk away. He is the fourth man in the fire, covering us from all things.
We may go through the problem, but he will bring us out on the other side of the problem on dry land.
Great is the God we serve.
He is worthy to be praised.
The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
Psalm 55 verse 21.
We do not know the heart or mind of a person. They may speak sweet words, but sweetness is far from them.
It is best to be watchful and pray for guidance.
Live a good life pleasing to God, and blessings will flow.
Behold, God is mine helper…
Psalm 54 verse 4
We have God. We do not need anyone else.
He is the creator. He called into existence things that never existed. He parted the Red Sea so his people could walk to the other side on dry ground. He gave courage to a man who stuttered so he could deliver his people out of slavery. He calmed the seas. He shut the mouths of lions. He made the blind to see. He opened the wombs of women well past the age of conception. He raised the dead. He healed the sick and so much more.
God can do anything and much more.
With him by our side, we lack nothing.
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 53 verse 1
We try to sneak past God by doing good deeds, hoping we will get to heaven. But we can’t because God knows our hearts, our true motives.
Sure, we can be moved with compassion to give to the poor, to donate to some charity research foundation on the cusp of finding a cure. We show true kindness, but many times when we are not looking, we are hard hearted in other parts of life.
We are called good but are we good all the time?
God knows the heart, and we can’t hoodwink him. Motives are measured in heaven.
I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
Psalm 52 verse 8
If it were not for the kindness of God, life would be most miserable.
His compassions are renewed daily.
Great is faithfulness in times of trouble.
