How do I know God?

In any relationship, the name of the other person is very important, too.

How we call that person is an indicator of how we feel about that person.

Is there anger or affection. Is there familiarity and intimacy.

When we think of a relationship with God, what do we call him?

God.

Father

Almighty.

Are we close enough to him to call him Abba Father?

Abba is a form of little children addressing their father as Papa or Daddy.

It is not something that most will favor because of His position as Creator.

It shows a closeness that goes deeper nearer than anything ever can.

It is a position of love and security.

Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matt 7 verse 7

We can approach the throne of grace with all boldness.

We can call on the name of the Lord.

We can come before God and ask anything in the name of his son, Jesus Christ, and it will be given unto us.

It Pleased the Father

Every step he took here on earth brought glory to his Father; His work, His ways every word that came from his mouth were perfect and without sin. It pleased God to open up the heavens and acknowledge him as his only begotten son.

the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon him; and lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matt 3 versed 16 and 17

Comfort & Healing Verses

I will bring health

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33 verse 6

In God, we trust, and in that trust, there is power.
Power gives strength.
Strength to move forward.
Strength to believe.

Life goes on;

Babies are born and people grow old.

Things change, nothing stays the same.

Where does it all go?

When time ends would there be an answer?

Would there be a second chance? 

Time slips by and nothing changes.

The future is a whisper of a promise. 

Delicate.

Invisible.

Possible. 

But today is now. 

It is what it can be.

And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear Not; thou shalt have this son (child) also. Genesis 35 verse 17
