Do you only pray to get something?

Sometimes, it is good to pray for giving thanks sake. We don’t have to ask to receive. We can also give him praise because of what he has done but also for who he is. Or we can give thanks because of what he means to us.

Prayer is our way of talking to God. We should make the most of it.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will i praise him.Psalm 28 verse 7.

Praying is simple in 2025

Praying to God should not be complicated.

Right?

God loves to hear our voices as we call on Him.

Keeping things simple yet relevant is important. We don’t have to make a fuss.

Ask and it shall be given unto you.

Easy.

For example, if you were on board a sinking ship and you need help. You scream…”Help.” There is no time to beat around the bush.

So, when you come to God in prayer, just tell him what you are in need of, and He promises to answer.

Isaiah 41 verse 10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee…

He will always be there to hear whatever you have to say.

I call Him Jehovah Rapha; the Lord my healer.

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ( Mark 11 verse 24.)

Believe for what you pray. Pray with all sincerity.

Out of the mouth, the heart speaks. (Matthew 12 verse 34)

Let the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strenght, and my redeemer. (Psalm 19 verse 14)

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. ( Proverbs 28 verse 7)

Fear Not for God will Help you and Fight Your Battles…

Yet To Be # 244

Fear Not the Battle Belong’s to God…

Yet To Be # 242

Reference: 2 Chronicles 20 verse 15.

We battle with so many things, also sometimes people and their opinions. We must remember nothing is too much or too hard for the Lord to handle. We have a heavenly Father who will move heaven and earth for us. It is God who will fight for us. When we are hurt in mind, body or spirit He will defend us.

The Battle is God’s.

Our God is always victorious.

God’s Promises

God said, "Call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you."
