Yet To Be # 127

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Prayer Warrior’s Prep

  1. Be passionate. Be all in.  James 5 verse 16 “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
  2. Not doubting but believing. James 1:6 -8 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering (doubting). For he that wavers (doubts) is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A doubleminded man is unstable in all his ways.
  3. Eyes on our leader. Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”
  4. Go aside alone Matthew 6:6 “When you pray enter into your closet and when you shut the door pray to your Father which is in secret.”
  5. Keep it simple. Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray use not vain repetitions.”
  6. Have confidence.  Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
  7. Knowing He hears. 1 John 5:15 “If we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”
  8. The Battle is His 1 Samuel 17:47 “And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s.”
  9. Know the battle cry.  1 Samuel 17:45 “I come in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of armies of Israel, whom you have defied…prepare to die.”

The battle is the Lord’s

Prayer Warrior: All In

All in or nothing.
Half-hearted speeches laced with jaundice eyes are nothing more than lies.
Words spoke with a forked tongue end the battle before the fighting begins.
There is no honor in the bitterness of deception.
A pledge taken is more than talk; the bond accepted takes courage to fulfill.
The die is cast when a request is promised without hope to commit.
There is no luck, no chance in the face of faith.
Neither can evil fall at a wishful whim.
He is in control.
The rules of war are His.
His touch revives and strengthens.
His eyes guide and sustain.
This battle of life is won.
The battle is the Lord’s.
