For The Moment…108

All thanks and praise belong to God.

He is worthy to be praised from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same.

When we are in health and have good times before us, and things are going smoothly, it is easy to praise the Lord.

When things are going badly. When the medical report is poor. When there is no money to pay all the bills. When the boss hates you. When everything at work is wrong, it is hard to sing praise.

But Job said, “Although he slay me yet will I trust him.”

To come to this realization is a big step of faith. But  like Job can we take that step?

It is all a matter of trust. It’s a matter of turning your eyes upon Jesus and to look in his face and not at the problem.

Yes, humanly speaking, it is hard, but if we dig deep and think about what lies before us, the choice is easy.

Remember, he is God.

The Blood of Jesus…

Remembering Jesus…

Behold the Lamb, crowned with glory and honor.

The true Passover Lamb who gave himself so that we could be redeemed to God.

Redemption comes through the blood, his precious blood.

Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.

It is by his blood that we are washed. We are cleansed and brought back to God in favor.

God sees the blood of His son and passed over in judgment.

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Fear Not For I Have Redeemed You…

YET TO BE # 286

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isaiah 43 verse 1

God’s love is all-consuming.

His passions are from everlasting to everlasting.

When He speaks it is forever.

Everything He promises, He fulfills.

Whatever He does nothing and no one can alter it.

He gave to us the most precious gift of all; His only begotten son, the darling of his bosom to redeem us.

It is by His grace and His great desire to have us be with Him through all eternity.

We are nothing, yet God so loved us, the blood of His son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God made us something.

Washed in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb, we are His for all eternity.
