When God knows you..

God is powerful.

At times, we miss the fact that this same God who created the universe is also our father.

He is a father to those who believe in his only son and who put their trust in him.

We are all God’s creatures. But as a born-again believer, we are called  children of God.

If we are children of God, then he will provide for us.

He will protect us.

He knows us.

He knows even our name. This is an intimate relationship he seeks to have with us.

Trust him. He does not sleep. It takes only one cry to awake his ear.

Prove him today, and see if he will not come through for you.

But now thus saith the Lord that created you…and he that formed you.

God said, “Fear not; for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name; you are mine.”

Isaiah 43 verse 1

For The Moment…31

Waiting on God in Hope.

When we wait on the Lord, it is not because He is slow or forgets to be kind to us. Waiting can seem very long. We do not hear or see any difference. He is not subjected to time like humans. We are born, live a little, and then we die. ( Ecclesiates 3 verse 1. To everything, there is a season.)

Time is not His enemy. It is His creation.

( Genesis 1 verse 5. The evening and the morning were the first day.) He dwells in eternity where time and the ravishes of time can never touch. Yet, God remembers what we are. He remembes we are frail creatures, and we go back to the earth as dust.

(Psalm 103 verse 14. He knows our frame and remembers we are dust.)

At the appointed time, He will come through. It will be for us perfect. We have only to trust Him.

I know it is hard. But He knows how this story ends and how it started. He is faithful.

(Isaiah 46 verse 9 to 13…

I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from the ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I purposed it, I will also do it. Hear me, I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry.)

Amen

Joy in Knowing Jesus

There is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents

Yet To Be

In the weakest of moments I look away, down instead of up, and see nothing.
If there is a tiny speck of light, I don’t see it because I look at my circumstances and their harsh limitations.
How cruel to be born, grow, gain, lose, and then die, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
How evil it is to despair. So easy it is to sink into the dark corners of the mind, to give into a depression where the soul is robbed of faith, and the heart becomes too afraid to believe.
It is a vengeful spirit that must not exist.
It is a evil that must never win.
The battle belongs to God.
He fights for us and will never fail.
Within the presence of God, there is peace, rest, joy, and love:
A love which dispels all fears. A love which brightens even the darkest nights with strength and with hope.

There is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Luke 15 verse 7

Fear Not – God is Come to Show Your Strength.

Yet To Be # 208

It isn’t enough to say it but, you have to believe it and walk in it as if it were so.

Then will your ways be perfect and successful before God.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear not for God is come to prove you, and that his fear maybe before your faces that ye sin not. Exodus 20:20

God’s Promises

God will help you.
God said, "Call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you."

What’s in a title…part 10

Book of Matthew again…details

Written approximately 60 AD by Matthew an apostle of Jesus Christ.

Message: Jesus is the promised Messiah.

Matthew chapter One verse One proclaims Jesus as the Messiah, as the Son of David, the son of Abraham.

The genealogy Jesus Christ states there are fourteen generations between Abraham and David and from David to the carrying away into Babylon there are fourteen generations and from the carrying away to Christ there are fourteen generations.

There are approximately 1000 years from David to Christ.

Son of David is a title that shows his royal lineage and is first mentioned in the New Testament in Matthew 1 verse 1. He as the son of Abraham shows he descended from the father of many nations as an Israelite. This all proves his earthly heritage as a man.

Key verse: Matthew 16 verse 16, 17

“Thou art the Christ the Son of the living God.”

His promise is complete

Call upon me…

Call upon Him,

He will answer.

Come all the oppressed, cheated, tired and lost?

There is blessing, assurance, rest and freedom in His words;

Cry out with this hope and confidence knowing He said it.

Believing He will do it.

His promises complete.

His promises all yes, amen, faithful and true,

And are all united in Him.

If, when evil comes upon us as the sword, judgement, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house and in they presence,( for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. 2 Chronicles 20 verse 9

Fear not for I am with you.

What To Do With Fear

It comes for us all, sometime.

We look then suddenly we get that feeling.

The heart beats hard and fast, the hands begin to shake.

The brow is drenched with sweat, the eyes refuse to focus,

While the cold, icy fingers of fear paralyzes the mind.

The fear of everything new and everything old.

There is loneliness, financial hardship, homelessness, unemployment, pain, suffering and finally death.

Fear has a myriad of faces and many companions to support, nurture, and keep it alive until the bitter end.

Best not to give in.

Easy to say.

Best to turn away without giving credence.

Not so easy to do.

Look up to the light, never to look away.

Remember His words of comfort, and believe what He says,

Because He said it and God is not a man that He should lie.

Numbers 23 verse 19

“Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that flies by day. Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.  A thousand shall fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come nigh you.” Psalm 91 verses 5 to 7

who against hope believed in hope

#31 of 31 Faith and Hope United

Riverwood

Faith is “complete trust or confidence in someone or something.”

Hope is “the feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

United?

Hope does not exist without faith. Faith is the fuel that drives hope onward.

“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; (Faith) and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Hope)

Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Faith and Hope United) Mark 11 verse 23 and 24

“And called those things which be not as though they were.  Who against hope believed in hope.” Romans 4 verse 17b and 18a
