For The Moment…30

A Prayer of Remembrance.

Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honor dwells. So Oh my God and Father, remember me for good because thy words were sweet and I ate them and they were a source of joy and rejoicing to my heart. Therefore, as in thy word, I will always be remembered by thee.

( adapted from Psalm 26, Jeremiah 15 verse 16 and Nehemiah 13 verse 31)

Falling…

Yet To Be 310

Although we may fear the uncharted, all the things hidden around the corner, the Lord is in control.

He remains faithful when we fall.

He catches us and holds us close when we are afraid.

There is no one like Him.

If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2 verse 13.

He loves us.

Jesus Lives…

This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3 verse 17.

He finished the work which the Father gave him to do.

Perfect completion.

God the Father is well pleased with His son.

He raised him from the dead.

And seated him at his right hand in the glory.

There he lives the die no more.

The Son of Man, the son of God, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Jesus lives.

Yet To Be # 236

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. 2 Samuel 9 verse 7.

King David extended kindness to his best friend’s son.

He gave without expectations. This is true kindness.

God gave His only son because He first loved us.

Here is unconditional and unmerited favor.

God’s Promises: He Will Never Forget You.
