And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee neither forsake thee; fear not neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31, verse 8
God will never turn his back on me.
And promises never to walk away while others flee.
His presence makes my heart beat with joy and ease.
Because I know there is nothing to fear before my enemies.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed…I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord. Isaiah 41:10 and Jeremiah 30: 17
There is comfort in the word of God. There is comfort for all reasons and all our needs. Jehovah- Rapha – declares healing is the will of God.
There is a light that shines in the dark caverns of the mind. Though small, even distant it is there; look for it. Look up, and you will see it. Jesus is that light. If you seek him, you will find him. He will become your strength, shield, and reward. “He is the light that shines in the darkest night; The Light that turns the wrong to right.” He is that light.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” John 8 verse 12
It cannot rule, nor can it even exist when you put your trust in the Lord.

Fear has torment. (1 John 4 verse 18 -20) Torment is severe physical or mental suffering. (Oxford Dictionary) But perfect love gets rid of every fear. With God in control, fear takes a back seat. It cannot rule, nor can it even exist when you put your trust in the Lord.
Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it. 1 Samuel 4 verse 20.
And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear not neither be thou dismayed : take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people and his city and his land. Joshua 8 verse 1
God prepares a way where there is no way.
Therefore, trust Him where you cannot trace Him.
When He makes bare His arm,
Who shall His work withstand?
When He His people’s cause defends,
Who then shall stay His hand? – P. Gerhardt, (1607 -76)
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not charity I am become as a sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal.”
I may be articulate but, If there is no love behind my speeches, then they are mere words.
Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains and have not charity, I am nothing.
I may be intelligent and spiritual in my approach to life, but if I do this all without love; I am nothing and my deeds are for nought.
Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing.
I give to the poor, help those in need, but I do it for recognition, it is all for nothing if it is done without love.
Counting the ways of love:
True love shows patience despite troubles, is kind, is not fueled by envy, is not evil, does not look for self-praise, behaves with propriety, is not selfish, endures all, hopes for the best, is happy with doing what is right, and love never fails.
What God promises, He fulfills. When God gives you a gift, take that gift with both hands, and give thanks. What He does, He does forever. No one can take it away from you. It is yours for all time. God wills it, so it shall be.
Behold, the Lord thy God hath set the land before thee; go up possess it, as the Lord god of thy fathers hath said unto thee, fear not, neither be discouraged. Deuteronomy 1:21

The Bible is a collection of books authored by many and inspired by God. God is behind every word, idea, and theme of this marvelous book. Although it charts the story of man, God is the center and heart of the passages written therein. The stories within the Bible are historical and full of years yet are relatable for the present times. Shadows of the past become concrete reflections of today’s reality. The people of the Old Testament and New Testament foreshadow the actions of us today who are under grace and are no longer identified by earthly origin but now are called children of God. Stories of faith, endurance, encouragement, social and economic depression, health and sickness, death, and dying are all present in this book.
There is no concern left unturned.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine (beliefs and teachings), for reproof (rebuke, reprimand, and criticism), correction (changing to make right), for instruction in righteousness (teaching to live right). 2 Timothy 3 verse 16.
Life is a journey of learning and the Bible is an excellent guidebook.

The first five books of the Old Testament are called the Pentateuch which title comes from the Greek Penta meaning, five and teuchos meaning scroll. Also known as the Law or the books of Moses, the lawgiver. In Jewish tradition, these five books make up what is called the Torah. The books begin with Genesis that chronicles the Creation, the covenant with Abraham and his descendants to Deuteronomy, ending with the death of Moses. Many scholars discuss the authorship of these books with the consensus that Moses composed them.
