In my mind

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

It is a true saying, ” Don’t sweat the small stuff.” Not worrying about every single thing declutters my mind.

If I worry about everything, I will be too stressed out, my heart will race, my pressure will sky rocket, and I could get seriously ill.

I have to weigh what is priority and what is not.

Then, I worry about the priority?

No.

Then, I take a deep breath and weigh the consequences along with my actions. I have to be honest. I am not in control. I can do my best to deal with a situation and pray for the best result.

For example:

I have to make certain numbers for every business quarter. The economy is bad, people are hoarding their money, prices are high. I work on them, say the right things, and make my calls, which is the best I can do. I can’t sweat it. Living worried about my upcoming work day and the lack that may happen can do more damage to my health. My job is to do the right thing and leave everything else to God.

Why worry when I can pray.

The Lord has never failed me.

Laugh if you want, my belief and your disbelief do not make this less true.

My motto is”  Don’t worry, be happy.”

All In The Mind

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Clutter does not have to be only tangible things. It could be things that invade the mind and cause misery, depression and anxiety. These unwanted actors tend to breach places in the mind and cause dire havoc. Over time, they are hard to eradicate. To remove them is to pray and pray to the Lord with hope and sincerity, knowing he will send help to see you through.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will save you from them all. (Psalm 33 verse 19)
