I love where I am now

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I like my home. Until the Lord leads me somewhere else, it is good.

Some people don’t have the luxury to say they are living in a good place, and I get it.

This makes me pray for others and count my blessings daily.

Nelson Mandela

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

My sister was helping to organize a political dinner for the city with different political leaders in our country. That was years ago, but he was a gracious man, calm and so pleasant.

Pets make great companions

What is good about having a pet?

When I am doing my writing, my dogs hang out with me and keep me company. If I have to go downstairs in the basement or into the kitchen for water, they follow me, I feel for protection.

They keep me moving, and I love that.

When I come home after a long, hard day of work, they greet me with love.

Dare I say..

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

A pair of shoes. I still have them, but they are not in style, so I don’t wear them. Because I bought it with my own money using one whole paycheck, I treasured them. Alas, I didn’t worship them, but I loved them.

History

What was your favorite subject in school?

I loved and still love reading about the progress of mankind.

I especially love Western art history. If I could indulge in a language other than English, I would be a Romanist and be able to read about ancient Rome in scholarly texts.

Time for what?

Do you need time?

Time to do the right thing?

Time to turn back time and have a second chance?

There is a time for everything. A time to live and a time to die.

A time to laugh and a time to cry.

But then there comes a time when there is no time left.

Are you ready for that time?

In Three Years…Enjoy Today

What will your life be like in three years?

I have no idea. I can’t think that far ahead because I don’t know if it will come.

I have today, and I will live it pleasing to the Lord.

The number of my days He will fulfill.

He may come again this very minute, and my job is to be ready for Him.

Sure, I have some plans for the future, but enjoy today cause tomorrow may never come.

Soon to be… The Second Coming of Christ…

What historical event fascinates you the most?

In a soon coming day, he will call all his waiting people home to live with him forever.

When?

No one knows, but what is interesting is that when it happens, it will be different.

Like the song says:

Two men walking up a hill, one disappears, and one is left standing still. I wish we all were ready. Man and wife asleep in bed she hears a noise and turns her head , he’s gone.

There is no time to change your mind. The Son has come and you’ve been left behind.

More..

You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?

Three more wishes, of course.

My Dad…

Describe a family member.

He was larger than life. He had a big heart. In love with his wife from the moment he saw her until his death. Loved his children and grandchildren. Had a beautiful speaking and singing voice and had a fantastic memory.

Mostly, he loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and followed him faithfully.

He wasn’t perfect, but that too made him the coolest Dad ever.
