And he said unto him, Fear not for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee and that also Saul my father knoweth. 1 Samuel 23 verse 17.
It is sad that Jonathan, Saul’s son, chose the wrong side and died with his father instead of standing at King David’s side. One mistake can lead to dire consequences. Say as Joshua did: choose today whom you will serve, but for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Once you experience God’s goodness, you can go on to encourage others.
And Joshua said unto them, Fear not; nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. Joshua 10 verse 25.
And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee neither forsake thee; fear not neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31, verse 8
God will never turn his back on me.
And promises never to walk away while others flee.
His presence makes my heart beat with joy and ease.
Because I know there is nothing to fear before my enemies.
Fear ye not; stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you today. Exodus 14 verse 13
You can run around in circles looking for answers, seeking the truth in other ways or from many different sources, but if you stop for one moment and look to God for the correct answers, He will show you great and marvellous things you have never seen. Prove him today by asking Him for whatever you need and believe He will bring it to pass. If you trust Him, He will open up the heavens and pour out a blessing for you that will be incredible.
Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Genesis 15 verse, 1
Don’t be afraid, and always remember the true and living God we serve is a good God.As our shield; he will protect us, and as our reward, he will honour us and provide for us.
Shield –
A shield is a piece of defensive equipment that is carried on the arm or, a person or thing that guards or protects.
Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters. Behold; I will do a new thing now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? Isaiah 43 verse 16, 19
If we believe in God and trust what He says, He will find a solution when it seems impossible. Unlike us, we struggle to find solutions to difficult situations, but God can make a way even when there is no way. He can do whatever is necessary to keep us safe and provide for us.
Yet To Be # 307 – Remembered in our hearts all waysnot just at Easter.
What is the significance of Palm Sunday?
It is a Christian celebration with its origin in Biblical times.
Matthew 21 verses 1 to 9 and John 12 verses 12 to 16.
And when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Zion, behold, thy king cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. Isaiah 62 verse 11.
Jesus traveled through the city of Jerusalem on a simple donkey. The crowds cast palm branches along his path, crying Hosanna in the highest.
Hosanna means Pray, save us.
In Biblical times a King would ride into the city on a horse as a symbol of war, but when he entered the city on a donkey, it was considered a symbol of peace.
Jesus riding on the donkey is seen as the Messiah coming to his people in peace.
He came to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19 verse 10
Public Journey to the Cross Part One is to be remembered not only at Easter but in our hearts all ways.
The Lord dows not let the rigtheous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked. Proverbs 10 verse 3

Different titles of Jehovah describe his office and his character. As a child of God, he is our Father, and daily as we turn the pages of the holy scriptures we learn more about him.
In those pages, we know of eternal life and what it cost the Father to send his only begotten son to die for us.
We also know of the price his son paid to redeem us back to God the Father.
In his title, we glance at a small part of him, a small part of him he wants to share.
Jehovah – Jireh – Jehovah will provide.
He is the Provider.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm 84 verse 11

And Abraham called the name fo that place Jehovah – jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. Genesis 22 verse 14.
