For The Moment…98

In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

He was their guide, and He gave them protection.

He brought streams out of the rock and caused waters to run down like rivers.

When they were thirsty and faint, he gave them water to drink.

And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.

They kept on the path of sin even when they saw how God took care of them.

Yea, they spake against God; they said, “Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?”

Ungrateful heart and slow to understand the love of God. He takes care of us because we are His children. Yet we are so undeserving of his love.

Adapted from Psalm 78 verse 14 to 19.

For The Moment…44

I’ll praise Him forever through all eternity, my Savior, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

I’ll sing of the Lamb who shed His blood for me, my Savior the King of kings and Lord of Lord’s.

That all through the ages His riches I might see. For all heavens glory He has prepared for me.

My full heart will praise Him, who gave His life for me, my Savior, the King of kings, and Lord of Lords.

(Adapted from a hymn by an anonymous songwriter)

For The Moment…29

My soul waits patiently for the Lord.

For none that wait on the Lord will be ashamed. The Lord will renew their strength.

As I wait on the Lord, I will hope, I will trust him, I will anticipate his blessing, and I will rest in him.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Is it not wonderous? ( adapted from Psalm 29, Psalm 130, and Isaiah 40.)

Quiet and Wait and Pay Attention

Yet To Be #274

And say unto him, take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted. Isaiah 7 verse 4

There is a time for everything.

A time to speak and a time to keep quiet.

keeping your mouth shut can enable you to listen;

Pay attention and check out the lay of the land ahead of you.

You cannot hear the truth if you are making all the noise.

Stay quiet, think and steel your mind against whatever will come your way.

You don’t know the future, so be prepared for the good or the bad.

He has you secured.

Remembering Jesus

Yet To Be #266

He suffered for me.

He was wounded for my transgressions, he was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon him; and with his stripes I am healed.

He suffered so I could be called a child of God therefore, God is my Father.

Go and tell my brethern…I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Because God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved me.

And hath raised me up together, and made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Wherefore I am no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We are children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ…

His suffering, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to Glory has put me in this place of favor with God.

Security In God

Yet To Be# 265

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope.

As I put the Lord first in my life, he becomes my guide. Therefore, am I confident and secure in Him and in His loving kindness.

Psalm 16 verse 8 and Acts 2 verse 26.
