There is Freedom With the Lord

He is God and Father

Yet To Be #194

When God takes control, there is nothing we lack.
There is freedom.
There is joy.
He comforts us and protects us.
When He stretches out His hand, who can turn it back?
He is perfect in knowledge and infinite in understanding.
Surely, He is God and Father.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. Psalm 138: 7

7 Simple Steps Towards Forgiving: Is It Hard to Forgive?

There is no escaping the bitterness that follows any act of betrayal.

Why Do People Pray?

Yet To Be #147

It is hard to forgive when the feeling of betrayal is buried deep within the heart.

There is no escaping the bitterness that follows any act of betrayal.

It empties the heart of comfort and light while stealing the soul of any love and joy. Dark seeds take root and bloom; then quickly multiply as anger, hate, and revenge. Soon, they spread far and fester like a disease without a cure.

7 Simple Steps to Help When Forgiving Others:

  1. Don’t give in. “Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing but, the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
  2. Look to the Lord for strength. “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence comes my strength, my strength comes from the Lord.” Psalm 121: 1 and 2
  3. Look to the Lord for help. “God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
  4. Do not take matters into your own hands. “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it
  5. is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19 and “Devise not evil against your neighbor.” Proverbs 3:29
  6. Ask the Lord for guidance. “In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:6
  7. Leave all the pain and anger at the throne of grace. If you forgive others our heavenly Father will also forgive us and His peace that surpasses all understanding will garrison our hearts and minds. Matthew 6:14 and 15, Mark 11:25.
  8. Sometimes it is easier said than it is to do. We need to take one day at a time. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.” Matthew 6:34.

He cannot deny himself

Trust in the Lord

The Park

Trust and don’t be afraid.

He promised to always be there, never to leave nor turn away.

Take his hand and he will guide.

Ask of him can he not provide?

When we call his name, he answers every cry.

The closer we are, the closer he stays.

He is touched by the beating of our hearts,

By the breathing of our spirit.

Captivated by the brightness of our souls, he looked upon us and his compassion was stirred.

Who is he that he should love us?

Who is he that he cannot deny himself?

He is master.

He is Lord.

He is God.

Trust in the Lord and lean not unto your own understanding. Proverbs 3 verse 3

Comfort in a Snapshot – the Secret Place

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91 verse 1

This verse is a promise from God or a snapshot of comfort

The Secret Place is a personal relationship with God (the Most High or the Almighty). Words of comfort from God are always true and pure. A relationship with God guarantees full and complete insurance coverage. He will give protection, guidance, counsel, love and much more. There is nothing He will withhold because all things are available to us – to those who love Him.
