For the Moment…#9

O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. 2 Chronicles 20 verse 12 – from Zoom Meeting – S. Martin

  • Prayer of Jehoshaphat before confronted by enemies.
  • We have no power on our own and do not know what to do, but our eyes are on the LORD, and we should not be afraid.
  • Look to the Lord; he is faithful.
  • We praise him for all that is past and trust him for that is to come

For The Moment…#3

You can run around in circles looking for answers, seeking the truth in other ways or from many different sources, but if you stop for one moment and look to God for the correct answers, He will show you great and marvellous things you have never seen.
Prove him today by asking Him for whatever you need and believe He will bring it to pass. If you trust Him, He will open up the heavens and pour out a blessing for you that will be incredible.

Prayer Warrior Gives Thanks.

The Thankful Poor by Henry Ossawa Tanner.

Yet To Be #135

The Thankful Poor – 1894

In the picture above, Henry Ossawa Tanner depicts a elderly man and a young boy sitting with heads bowed.  The room is simple, the table is sparse with little if any food, yet these warriors of prayer are thankful for even the little they have.

A warrior prays, believes, and gives thanks as if it is already received.
Accepting in all certainty that God is faithful.
We trust Him for guidance when we cannot see what lies ahead.
Not knowing what will be but believing it will work out for our good.
Then in all absolute confidence, we can give thanks.

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise they glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13
