For The Moment…88

For thou art my hope, O Lord God; thou art my trust from my youth. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

Psalm 71 verses 5 and 9.

When I am most vulnerable, the Lord will sustain me.

I will remember His love and his kindness from the time of my youth.

All my life, he will be good to me.

He is my hope, and in Him, do I put my trust.

For The Moment…32

My words are not fake.

I do not want to speak peace to my neighbors but have mischief in my heart. ( adapted from Psalm 27 verse 3.)

My prayer today is that I want my words to be pure and sincere. I pray daily that my ways might please the Lord. I pray my heart might be right before the Lord who dwells in holiness and who is holy and cannot look upon sin. But he might be pleased with me and that my enemies will be at peace with me.

Amen.

Fear Not: Confidence Comes from God.

Yet To Be # 245

When you have confidence in the Lord your strength is renewed, boldness is acquired, and words open doors.

The Lord is a light for your feet, and a guide for your path.

In the Lord you can trust.

In the Lord you can find rest.

In the Lord there is peace.

With the Lord there is power, and there is safety.

And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, be not ye afraid of them remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your house. Nehemiah 4 verse 14.

God’s Promises: I am with you…

Let not your heart be troubled.

Yet To be # 176

He gives comfort when you’re in pain.

He gives strength when you’re weak.

He makes the coward heart brave when it is afraid,

And he gives peace because he is peace.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.

But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.  John 14: 16, 26,27.
