God’s Promises: I am with you

Yet To Be #178

Summer 2021

In the midst of trouble that shatters all your dreams.

Strength melts, control disappears.

Remember, God is there.

Call out to Him.

He will protect you.

He will help you.

There is no other like Him.

When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, and a people more than you, be not afraid of them: for the Lord your God is with you. Deuteronomy 20: 1

God’s Promises: I am with you

And God said, my presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

God’s Promises: I am with you…

Let not your heart be troubled.

Yet To be # 176

He gives comfort when you’re in pain.

He gives strength when you’re weak.

He makes the coward heart brave when it is afraid,

And he gives peace because he is peace.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.

But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.  John 14: 16, 26,27.

God’s Promises: I am with you…

he will not fail you nor forsake you.

As you travel on your pathway, be safe.

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places where ever you go, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have spoken to thee. Genesis 28:15

When you are afraid and weak.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am they God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee, yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

When you need courage.

Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee, he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6

God’s promise: forgive and forget

I will not remember your sins

Yet To Be #175

As children of God by spiritual birth not because we are God’s creatures, he forgives us our sins. But as human beings living in this sinful world we are subject to sinning daily. If we mess up for any reason, we have Jesus our advocate who approaches our Father God on our behalf.

How cool is that and how blessed we are. Amen.

I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins. Isaiah 43:25

God’s Promise: Ask in my name

The moment we fall on our knees in prayer, God begins to work.

Yet To be #174

We can leave it all to him.
The moment we fall on our knees in prayer, God begins to work.
He hears every cry and knows every tear.
He said, “Ask anything in my name, and I will do it.”
The words of the upright are pleasing to the Lord.
The word of a penitent heart is pleasant in his ears.
He knows the heart; he tries the reins, and he searches the soul.
No one can hoodwink him, for he is God.
Ask and see if he will not move the earth to see us through.
He is a God of love and compassion.
Great is his faithfulness.

And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13 and 14

God’s promises: I will come again.

Surely, I come quickly.

Yet To Be #172

He will not leave us or forget about us.
He desires to have us with him at his home.
He will come for his people.
He hears our cries and knows our deeds, and yet he wants us still.
He will not be in heaven without us.
When the time is right, we will hear the last trumpet and the voice of the archangel.
The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who remain shall be caught up to meet him in the air.

“Surely, I come quickly.” Revelation 22:20 and 2 Thessalonians 4:17

God’s Promise: Reward of Life

the Lord is not slack concerning his promise

Yet to be #171

Our names are written in the Book of Life
If we confess Him to the world.
If we walk in his favor bringing honor to his name by living a life that pleases God and by trusting him at his word, then there is proof of conviction and conversion.
We overcome the world, lost to the whims and fancies of life that hold no meaning to God because He has no preeminence.
Being friends with the world and loving the things of the world puts us at enmity with Christ.
We cannot have two masters.
Christ as savior seals us with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption.
There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God, neither death, hell, Satan, or the grave.
He promised when our name is written in the Book of Life, it will never be erased.

(References: Revelation 3:5 “I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise.”

God’s promises: I go to prepare a place for you.

Where He is, He wants us to be.

Yet To Be # 170

The desire to have someone we love close and to keep that person always near is worth having.
Opening our life, our dwelling place to someone our heart forms an attachment is intimate and precious.
It is a language far deeper than emotions can ever flow.
It is out of sight, out of mind caught up in the heart, which is the seat of all affection.
This is the love of God and His desire in His promises towards us.
Where He is, He wants us to be.
Where He belongs, we have a home ready and waiting.
There is no other desire in His heart but for us.
If that isn’t love indeed, the oceans are dry, and there are no stars in the sky.

“I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you maybe also.” John 14:2 and 3

God’s Promise: Kindness forever

Touched by the feelings of our infirmities

Yet To Be #168

Knowing the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe cares for us surpasses all understanding.
He sent His only Son to suffer and die, to secure us for Himself.
His love reaches far, burning the very fringes of our minds and awakening our dark souls. There is no God like Him, gentle in mercy and plenteous in understanding.
Touched by the feelings of our infirmities, He cannot deny himself; so deep is His love, who can compare?

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:10
