Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar. Jeremiah 30 verse 10A.
Or
Therefore fear thou not, O my child of God…
I will save you from afar.
God may not be physically here as in flesh and blood, but his arm is not short.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17 verse 8.
No matter the circumstances.
No matter what is happening in the world today; war or rumors of war, poor economy, inflation or natural disasters;
God will see us through.
He protects his own.
He cares for his children.
He will never leave us or forsake us.
A thousand shall fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand and it will not come near us.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17 verse 7
The Lord is Hope.
In him, we have everything we need.
With arms wide open he never refuses;
And never disappoints.
Where there is trust, hope follows.
Sometimes we cannot see the big picture, but if we look at the little things and see how easily they fall into place, we will glimpse that big picture.
They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jeremiah 10 verse 5.
Some people are good, and in all appearances, they do well.
They are not the ones to fear.
They will do nothing; they will say nothing, nor do they see anything.
They have no life within them.
They will neither be against you or be for you.
They are like a vapor; here, one moment, then gone the next as if the vapor never existed.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Isaiah 54 verse 14
People may voice their disapproval with you when you walk in faith with the Lord.
Don’t worry about them.
Keep believing in the Lord and trust him where you can not trace Him.
He will keep you safe and be your salvation forever.
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10:17.
Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:34
We forget to remember God’s loving-kindness.
We forget that he is God, the Almighty. The One who formed the world out of nothing.
The One whose presence demands holiness.
And we forget to remember that God said he will never forget us, but our sins and iniquities will be remembered no more.
Because of this lack of control, fear creeps into our thoughts.
The what-ifs become insurmountable.
We are consumed with our fears until we seek to share them and project them onto others.
If we for but one moment take our eyes off our fears and look to God he will quiet our hearts and mind.
Look to God; the same God who is all-powerful, almighty, and Creator of the world. Who parted the Red Sea. Who gave power to the least of all nations so that they could conquer their enemies. The God who walked with individuals and communed with them. Who stopped the lion’s mouth, who saved the three servants in the furnace. Who calmed the seas. Who sent his only son to save the world.
