Fear not for I am with you.

What To Do With Fear

It comes for us all, sometime.

We look then suddenly we get that feeling.

The heart beats hard and fast, the hands begin to shake.

The brow is drenched with sweat, the eyes refuse to focus,

While the cold, icy fingers of fear paralyzes the mind.

The fear of everything new and everything old.

There is loneliness, financial hardship, homelessness, unemployment, pain, suffering and finally death.

Fear has a myriad of faces and many companions to support, nurture, and keep it alive until the bitter end.

Best not to give in.

Easy to say.

Best to turn away without giving credence.

Not so easy to do.

Look up to the light, never to look away.

Remember His words of comfort, and believe what He says,

Because He said it and God is not a man that He should lie.

Numbers 23 verse 19

“Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that flies by day. Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.  A thousand shall fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come nigh you.” Psalm 91 verses 5 to 7

He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. Psalm 91 verse 1

A close relationship with God has benefits; present and eternal.

Bring praise to the Lord

Where do we go from here?

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.

Hallelujah, Christ has conquered.

Now, seated at the Father’s right hand.

Sing Hallelujah.

Bring praise to the Lord.

Burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Tribute and admiration belong to him and to him alone.

Give him honour, respect and worship him in the beauty of holiness.

( references: Psalm 96 verse 9, Psalm 150 verse 6, Hebrews 1 verse 3)

Hallelujah – the merging of two words

In the Hebrew Bible – Hillel – is a verb meaning to praise

Jah – the Lord or YHWH or Yahweh.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills

#27 /28 Where Did It All Go?

Too weary to think, to wish upon that star.

Dreams remain still and never born.

We go through the motions of praying, asking, begging even.

Faking belief when there are no eyes to see.

Not trusting, caring little or nothing of his desires.

The heart is hardened by the cruel hands of reality.

The soul is cold from the long years of waiting.

Believing in word only having no faith because works are dead.

Look up and see…

Who comes leaping on the winds of the morning?

Hope.

Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord our God is salvation. Jeremiah 3 verse 23

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.  Psalm 121 verse 1

The voice of my beloved. Behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. Song of Solomon 2 verse 8

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  Psalm 91 verse 1

Secret place is a personal relationship with God which guarantees full and complete insurance coverage – “He will hide me, safely hide me in the shadow of His hand”. The name of the Lord is a strong tower.
