Remembering Jesus

Yet To Be #266

He suffered for me.

He was wounded for my transgressions, he was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon him; and with his stripes I am healed.

He suffered so I could be called a child of God therefore, God is my Father.

Go and tell my brethern…I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Because God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved me.

And hath raised me up together, and made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Wherefore I am no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We are children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ…

His suffering, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to Glory has put me in this place of favor with God.

Good Friday of the year is a remembrance of the sufferings of the death of Christ

Day 2 of April Good Friday

Good Friday of the year is a remembrance of the sufferings and the death of Christ.

Being named after Him, the one who came to die for the world makes us privilege.

We are Christians being called years ago in Antioch in the country of Turkey, as Christ- like.

Wise as serpents but harmless as doves.

We trace the path of the son of God from the humble manger to His steps in Israel straight to the cross.

The cross where He, as man born of a woman, the virgin Mary, took our sins;

The perfect sacrifice.

The true Passover Lamb.

It is on this day, Good Friday.

“And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” Acts 11 verse 26

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”  Matthews 10 verse 16

“Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death.” Matthew 20 verse 18

“Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.” Acts 17 verse 3

Crucifixion of Jesus occurred in 1st century Judea, in either AD 30 or AD 33 – Wikipedia 2021
