For The Moment…68

Jesus wept.

John 11 verse 35

This is the shortest verse in the Bible, and yet it speaks volumes.

It as we cry, he cries with us. He is touched by our feelings.

He is with us in trouble we go through because he can not deny his love for us. He can not leave us.

He is faithful and will pull us out of the trouble. No matter where we are.

We have nothing to fear knowing he is near.

He stays closer to us than a brother.

He is our shield, and he is our great reward.

We have everything in Christ Jesus.

For The Moment…56

Betrayal is an unsavory dish. Something that turns the heart to stone.

We never see it coming, too caught up in the sweet words of a friend.

We break bread together, we drink, we make merry, and yet that  person disguised like a friend continues to plot our demise.

Yes, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

Psalm 41 verse 9.

As true followers of Jesus Christ, we must never have two faces. The Lord was betrayed by a friend, and that so called friend’s end was eternal doom.

We must always have the mind of Christ and show love and compassion.

For The Moment…18. Is there anything impossible for God?

He gives power to the faint

We all have limitations. There are places we cannot go and things we cannot do without supernatural help. We have the potential to exceed our imagination, but some things are impossible to do. However, with God, everything is possible. No one is greater than God. No one is like Him. He is God, the Holy One. His power is vast. He is infinite. The Creator who rides on the wings of the wind. Who called into existence things that did not exist. The One who loves us first when we are unable to love. The One who cannot deny himself because He is Love. (Matthew 19 verse 26, Jeremiah 32 verse 17, Genesis 18 verse 13)

For The Moment…#12

By accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we receive the gift of eternal life.

Consider and hear me, O Lord my God. Psalm 13 verse 3

Someone commented on the grace of God, saying it’s something we don’t deserve. It’s true. The God of the universe has so much love that He gave His only son to save us from sin. He wants us all to be saved and go back to Him. By accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we receive the gift of eternal life. Christ died for us, the undeserving, to reconcile us with God. This is an undeserved gift. (1 Peter 3:18-22)

Praise the Lord.

From the sun’s rising to the same setting, praise the Lord.

Obedient from first to last, he came to do the Father’s will.

He knew he would shed his blood for the sins of the world.

He knew that on the cross, he would be forsaken by God because of God’s holiness and how God can not look upon sin.

Yet, he died on the cross.

And God pleased with the son of his love, raised him from the dead.

And placed him at his right hand in heaven. There, he lives.

Behold my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him. Matthew 12 verse 18.

When People Disapprove..

Yet To Be # 295

People may voice their disapproval with you when you walk in faith with the Lord.

Don’t worry about them.

Keep believing in the Lord and trust him where you can not trace Him.

He will keep you safe and be your salvation forever.

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

Isaiah 51: 7

Fear Not For I Am With Thee…

YET TO BE # 287

Fear Not for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west. Isaiah 43 verse 5

Lonely but never alone

Saddened but not given into disparity.

Deeply loved because you are His child.

His guidance is true.

His ways are sure.

His compassions never fail.

His grace is renewed every morning.

Great is His faithfulness.

He Remains Faithful…

If we stray in our thoughts with unbelief, the matter still exists.

His word is eternal

His love is true from everlasting to everlasting.

He can not deny himself because he remains faithful.

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he can not deny himself. 2 Timothy 2 verse 13.

Fear Not For I Have Redeemed You…

YET TO BE # 286

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isaiah 43 verse 1

God’s love is all-consuming.

His passions are from everlasting to everlasting.

When He speaks it is forever.

Everything He promises, He fulfills.

Whatever He does nothing and no one can alter it.

He gave to us the most precious gift of all; His only begotten son, the darling of his bosom to redeem us.

It is by His grace and His great desire to have us be with Him through all eternity.

We are nothing, yet God so loved us, the blood of His son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God made us something.

Washed in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb, we are His for all eternity.

Remembering Jesus the Author of Our Faith.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12 verse 2.

Author of our Faith in the book of Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 can be translated from the Greek language as captain or pioneer.

He is the first and the last; everything starts with him and ends with him.

He perfected our belief in God.

He is our example when it comes to trusting in God.

He totally relied on God the Father as the source of his blessing, the source of his existence;

being the only begotten son of God, coexistent, coequal, and coeternal with God.

He is our true example as the “captain” and “perfector” of our faith.
