For The Moment…53

Wait and pray or pray and wait.

Things do not happen in our time, but with God, everything is on time.

We can not rush God. His ways are not our ways, and our times are in His hands.

He is perfect. If we trust Him, He will bring it all to pass in the right time.

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalm 40 verse 1.

Yet To Be #13

If we wait on the Lord, and keep our eyes on Him, believing and trusting Him we will be anxious for no thing.

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: Wait, I say on the Lord. Psalm 27 verse 14

The word wait implies to linger, to hang around, to kill time; yet sometimes it is difficult to just wait patiently.  We view everything in real time, it moves so fast that its difficult to catch up. You set your clock 15 minutes faster, but still you cannot catch up.  But if we wait on the Lord, and keep our eyes on Him, believing and trusting Him, we will “be anxious for no thing.” (Vicissitudes of life, 2007)

Hope

…who against hope believed in hope and hope does not put me to shame.  Therefore, my heart is glad because my trust is in the Lord and I wait on him.  For his promises are true and He is my hope. It is He who renews my strength, for when I am weak then I am strong. Hence, I can run and not be weary, walk and not faint and fly high above the heavens like the eagles that soar.
